Customer Service Agent

  • Seasonal, full-time position - approx. start date of April 2025, through November 2025. 
  • We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and highly organized Customer Service Agent to join our team at Beacon Marine, in Pointe au Baril.
  • As the first point of contact for boaters and visitors, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist with marina operations, and ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for all customers. This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere at our marina.

  • Key Responsibilities: 
  • Customer Interaction; greet & assist marina guests, boaters, and visitors upon arrival.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by resolving issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor boat arrivals & departures; assisting with docking and fueling. 
  • Operational support; manage phone lines, emails and walk-in inquiries. Coordinate and communicate with other marina departments to ensure smooth operations. 
  • Maintain and update customer files and reservations using marina management software.
  • Maintenance and Safety: Ensure the marina is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times. Assist with ensuring marina safety protocols are followed, including managing emergency situations when necessary.
  • Requires Skills & Qualifications: 
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or marina operations is an asset. 
  • Familiarity with boating, marine technology and marina operations; ability to operate boats or assist with docking.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
